Details about Won By One

Won by One was founded in 1995 by Greg Shockley, Clayton Inman, and David Jenkins. In 1999, they added bass singer Bob Caldwell and became a quartet; they would later return to the trio format after Caldwell's 2002 departure. Tenor Greg Shockley left in 2000 and was replaced by Nic Holland. Holland left in 2003; Ray Scarbrough briefly sang tenor with the group, and later in 2003, Chris Cooper joined. Cooper and Jenkins would stay through the group's disbanding in 2004; lead singer Clayton Inman left to become a founding member of Triumphant Quartet in 2002, and was replaced by Chris Whitaker for Won By One's final years on the road.
