Voices Won starts making their mark in the Southern Gospel tradition of tight sibling harmonies with this project, their national debut. Brothers Jaron Faulknor (tenor), Shantell (baritone), and Staclynn (lead) are a Georgia-based trio that had been singing together regionally for several years. All three are also songwriters and contributed all but two of the songs on the project. Shantell wrote and is featured on the pleasantly mellow track "I Will Praise Him Forever." Staclynn wrote and is featured on "Inside of Me," a story about his conversion. Jaron wrote "Fishing Trip," "Happy," and the project's final five songs. Many projects have so many slow songs that the uptempo songs stand out; the opposite is true here, where are there are so many uptempo songs that the slower ones, "I Will Praise Him Forever" and "New Start," stand out from the pack.
