Kim Collingsworth recorded Personal, her first piano solo DVD, before a capacity audience of 3,400 at Music Hall in Cincinnati, Ohio. Interspersed with the concert footage is biographical footage, with footage from the church where she started learning to play piano at three years old.

One of the evening's highlights was when Kim introduced her parents and all but one of her brothers and sisters, who had gathered from across the country for the evening. (One sister who was a missionary in the Philippines was unable to travel the 10,000 miles to be there.) The whole family sang "God's Family" together, leaving no question where Kim and family got their musical genes.The extras have extensive additional footage, including footage of Kim's parents singing together, and of Kim singing in a trio with two of her siblings.

The video also includes Kim taking requests for an impromptu medley, and closes with a brand-new version of the "Hallelujah Chorus."
