Michael Jason Frost sang with his family group, The Frost Family, from childhood through his teenage years. The group later became a trio, the Frosts. During his years with the Frosts, Michael Jason Frost developed his songwriting skills; he penned the group's charting single "Author and Finisher." He has also written songs cut by artists including Ivan Parker, HisSong, and the Wilburns.

Since 2006, Frost has performed at the Miracle Theater in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. His roles have included John the Baptist and Jesus.

Frost joined Crossroads' Pinnacle label in 2009; his Pinnacle debut, Sing Like It's the Last Time, came out in spring 2009.
