In 2003, the Kingdom Heirs introduced several new members—tenor Jodi Hosterman, bass Jeff Chapman, and pianist Adam Harman. With Forever Changed, this new lineup hits their stride. The project starts off with a Statesmen cover, Something to Shout About, before going into a new song that would become a #1 hit for the group, Forever Changed. Jeff Chapman takes the lead on the next song, I've Never Been Loved, as well as on I Didn't Know. Lead singer Arthur Rice shines on The Embrace of Grace and on another song that would go on to become a #1 hit and concert mainstay for the group, I Know I'm Going There. Baritone Steve French is featured on Looking in the Wrong Place, while Jodi Hosterman offers Again and Count on You. No collection of Southern Gospel is complete without a few Kingdom Heirs projects, and Forever Changed is on the short list of projects no fan of classic quartet singing should be without.
Having refined their craft for the last twenty-three years, The Kingdom Heirs are in every sense of the word “superstars” in the world of Southern Gospel. Forever Changed represents what The Kingdom Heirs do best, and that is solid Southern Gospel quartet singing. For the past eighteen years, The Kingdom Heirs have been performing and singing at Dollywood’s Music and Theme Park to almost two million people a year. Keep in mind that it’s a nine month year at the park. By blending trademark songs of the group with quartet standards, the Kingdom Heirs remain one of the most successful and consistent sellers in Southern Gospel today.
