Darin and Brooke Aldridge: New Project, New Label, New Booking Agency

Big things are in store for one of the fastest rising groups in Bluegrass, Darin and Brooke Aldridge. Darin and Brooke are excited to announce their new self titled CD on the Mountain Home Music label, a division of Crossroads. The long awaited follow up to their all gospel recording I’ll Go With You, this new project  is set to be a groundbreaking recording.  Co-produced by Jerry Salley, the release promises a fine mix of fresh secular and Gospel tracks recorded by David Rhyne in Dallas, NC and mastered by Van Atkins at Crossroads. Darin comments on the new release, “Brooke and I are very excited about working with the folks at Mountain Home who we feel are a perfect match for us. We are especially thrilled with the new CD. The songs we chose reflect our diverse influences but we render them in our own unique style.  We want this album to appeal to traditional listeners but also cross over into other markets for folks in search of a fresh new sound.”

The release date for the album titled Darin and Brook Aldridge  is scheduled for early 2010 but you can hear a preview soon from your favorite Bluegrass and Gospel radio programmers.

In addition to the new album and label move, Darin and Brooke have also recently signed a booking agreement with Andrea Roberts Agency working with Jessie Law as their principle agent and ARA rep.  Andrea comments, “I am so excited to have Darin & Brooke Aldridge in The Andrea Roberts Agency “family”.  I think that Brooke is one of the most refreshing, heartfelt voices that I’ve heard in a long time and Darin is a wonderful instrumentalist and singer.   If you take those elements, add an outstanding group of musicians playing with them and the fact that the entire band is made up of fine folks, it’s a combination that can’t be beat!  I expect big things in the future for Darin & Brooke Aldridge and I’m so proud to be working with them.”

Brooke and Darin would like to invite everyone to come by and visit with them and maybe even do some pickin’ at their booth #89 in the main exhibit hall at this year’s IBMA business conference. They are also featured in several IBMA showcases this year. Their official IBMA showcase is Monday September 28th at 9:30 pm in the main ballroom of the Nashville Convention Center. Other IBMA showcases include; September 29th at the Hadley Music Group Showcase at 1:25 am, room 103 in the Nashville Convention Center and September 30th at the Good Home Grown Music Showcase at 11:25 pm, room 210 in the Nashville Convention Center
