Thought you knew the Down East Boys? Well, hit your erase button and think again! Amen is among the best recorded male quartet vocal performances ever. It has the intensity of the best of the Kingsmen, the precision of the best of the Cathedrals, and the sincerity of the best of Gold City.

The Down East Boys sang their hearts out, and producer Jeff Collins mined the depths of their diamond-studded vocal talent!

Highlights include:

  • I Won’t Trade My Crown: Powerhouse vocals permeate this song about Christian commitment that reminds us nothing on earth is worth sacrificing our calling for, even when the world tempts us to turn away.
  • Under the Blood: Bassy, brassy, bold declaration that the greatest cleansing agent in the entire universe is the Blood of Jesus! When was the last time you heard brass and a banjo kick off a song together?

Exciting! that's about all you can say about the project It not only tickles your ears with great music but the message is bold and out front you don't have to look or strain to hear the message of God's word here. Great Job guy's, what a joy to play and introduce on the air.

Can I get an "Amen"? This aptly titled project from the Down East Boys will have you saying "Amen" over and over. You might even shout a time or two. Between the tight harmonies we've come to expect from the group and the powerful messages in the music, all 10 songs could easily be playlist adds, and several are Top 10 performances. I look forward to getting these songs on the air.
