After a 20 year break, Sonlite Records and the Down East Boys have re-united their relationship in a new long term record contract. The Down East Boys started their career in the mid 80’s by singing throughout the eastern Carolina coast. They signed their first national recording contract In 1989 with Sonlite Records. Sandy Knight Re-Signs with Asheville Music Publishing
Award-winning songwriter Sandy Knight continues her long time agreement with Crossroads and Asheville Music Publishing. Greg Bentley, head of publishing at Crossroads states, “I have been a fan of Sandy’s writing since the 1980′s, and to have the honor to work with such a song writing treasure as Sandy Knight is something I never dreamed would happen. Sandy writes songs that charge you up for the journey. I am excited to have her re-sign with Asheville Music Publishing, and am looking forward to many more top-charting songs from her pen.”
