Arden, NC (Crossroads) July 13, 2010 – This year, the Kingdom Heirs and Sonlite Records are both enjoying their 25th year in Southern Gospel music. Along the way, they have celebrated several number one songs, with the most recent being “He Locked The Gates.”

The Kingdom Heirs’ Steve French states, “We’ve had a good run through the years, with many songs in the charts, including several number two’s. However, it’s always exciting when you see your efforts land at that number one position. You know people have not only enjoyed your music but, we realize that we have touched lives with the message as well.”

“Its hard to believe that we’ve been doing this for 25 years now,” said Crossroads executive Chris White. “The Kingdom Heirs were one of the very first groups signed to the Sonlite label, and they have been a mainstay ever since. There has been a lot of loyalty from both parties through all these years, and that’s hard to find in the world we live in today. I truly appreciate what they have meant to the label through all the good times and even a few bad times,” White added.

“He Locked The Gates” is from the project When You Look At Me. The Kingdom Heirs’ latest release, 25th Anniversary, is a collection of 11 hit songs that were recorded by the group throughout the years. It truly is a collector’s dream. Both projects are available at many retail outlets across America, as well as at www.crossroadsmusic.com.

As of January 2009, Crossroads has now implemented a download process through our web site in which DJ’s can easily download your single release via a secure web page. For our DJ friends who have not moved over to this technology, Crossroads will still make available an actual CD Sampler as we have in the past. This new process will enable us to deliver singles in a more timely fashion and provide any additional updated information quickly. As word grows of this new opportunity, we expect to see the number of outlets receiving our single releases to increase greatly over time. We have already seen DJ’s from Norway and South America sign up for this delivery system! This will be a great benefit to those who release with Crossroads. Jim Stover, director of radio here at Crossroads states, “After surveying a large block of broadcasters, we’re excited to be moving to digital delivery for our single releases. With this modern method of “shipping songs,” radio professionals across the country and around the globe now have instant, equal access to the Southern and Bluegrass Gospel music produced and distributed by Crossroads!”

Every month, Crossroads delivers new single releases on our top label artists, such as The Talley Trio, The Kingdom Heirs, Ivan Parker, The Inspirations, Mark Bishop, Lauren Talley, The Kingsmen, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, The Collingsworth Family, Janet Paschal and The McKameys (just to name a few!), and we offer slots monthly to Independent Artists interested in growing their ministries. Your single release if offered right next to today’s top charting Gospel Artists.

A flat fee of $600 is the price for having your single released with Crossroads. You can release multiple singels at appropriate intervals, usually every 4-6 months.

Crossroads is interested in helping you grow your ministry by exposing your work to a greater Christian community. Please email us by simply clicking on the email address below or call us at 828-684-3066 ext. 311.

When we launched the Crossroads Radio Distribution Services (CRDS) website at the beginning of 2009, we were setting sail in some uncharted waters. Thankfully, the deejay download service has proven to be a bonafide “radio hit,” with nearly 500 users and new sign-ups coming in every week!

A recent deejay message complimenting the service prompted me to go back and find a few of the many others we’ve received about it. You’ll find them below.

If you’re a deejay reading this, anywhere in the world, and you haven’t signed up to access our singles, please do that today! If you’re already a user, please tell your deejay friends about it!

And thanks for playing and supporting Crossroads music!

Sincerely, Jim Stover

Thanks for the great music you guys are offering on the dj download website.. It makes it very handy to get new releases and you always put such quality songs and artists on the site. Some throw in so many artists many of which are unworthy of airplay that you have to filter through them to pick the quality out. But yours is all quality and we appreciate that.
Thanks
Wes B., Oklahoma

Thank YOU for letting me know when new songs are available; the download thing is the only way to go, as far as I’m concerned.
Thanks to all. John Thompson

Just wanted to say thanks for the good job you do each month with the
