Van Atkins and Rich Crist are in the studio this week, finishing up the mix on the Crist Family’s upcoming Timeless Christmas CD. The CD is scheduled to release to retail on September 20, 2011.

In the Studio: Crist Family live brass orchestrations
Producer Jeff Collins recently visited Watershed Studios in Nashville to oversee production of live brass, arranged by Jason Webb, on the Crist Family’s upcoming Christmas project. This is a clip from “Love Me Some Snow.”
Work continues at Crossroads Studios in Arden this month on the project’s final mix.

In the Studio: Down East Boys record “When I Could Do Nothing”
The Down East Boys have been hard at work on their next mainline release. Here is a video of them working out the final arrangement on “When I Could Do Nothing”:

In the Studio: Down East Boys record “Redemption Draweth Nigh”
The Down East Boys are in the studio today, working with our studio musicians on tracks for their upcoming summer release. It will feature mostly new songs, and a classic or two.
