Crossroads Music’s bluegrass label, Mountain Home Music, just released a new three-song Christmas project, titled A Mountain Home Christmas.

Three of the Bluegrass groups on the label, Balsam Range, Darin & Brooke Aldridge, and Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, each stepped into the studio in November to cut Christmas singles—just in time for the holidays. Doyle brings us a sentimental song, “It’s Christmas Time,” sung in four part harmony with Doyle taking the lead vocals. Balsam Range adds a sweet ballad, “Mary’s Little Lamb,” and Darin and Brooke Aldridge bring back a driving Country Gentlemen tune “Christmas Time Back Home,” reworked to include some pleasant musical surprises.
