Rich Crist of the Crist Family was in the studio recently for the audio mix on their upcoming DVD:

Rich Crist: Hey friends, here we are at Crossroads Records, working on our new DVD. We’re doing our audio mix right now. We’re the Crist Family, by the way, my name is Rich. I’m here with engineer Van Atkins, works on all our projects. What we’re doing is we’re doing the audio mix and fixes on our new DVD that’s coming out, probably in the next several months.

What we do is we go and do a live taping. We have all of the video in high definition on this DVD, which we’re real excited about. Then we bring all of that footage back along with the audio. Then we do post-production on the audio here in the studio at Crossroads, then we do post-production on the video at another location. Then we bring it all back together and it’s all ready, then, for viewing. So that’s what we’re doing today.

We were taping an INSP (Inspiration Network) taping over in North Carolina. In fact, we were on the same night that the Bowlings were supposed to be on, when they had their horrible bus accident. It was very tough on all of us, as we love Mike and Kelly dearly. And we’re just glad that everybody’s doing okay. So that’s where we were doing the taping that night.
