Larry CollieCrossroads Publishing companies Asheville Music Publishing and Chris White Music are pleased to announce the addition of Larry Collie to our list of staff writers. Larry has been sending songs in on a song by song basis now for a while, but has been very consistent in his writing. Just in the last four months we have had cuts by The Inspirations, The Dove Brothers, Calvary’s Voice and Cross4Crowns. Larry states, “This is a dream come true for me to be a part of such a great company as Crossroads, and I am blown away at how quickly we have gotten cuts.”
Greg Bentley, Director of Publishing states, “Larry has sent some great songs in that are not only strong lyrically, but have great melodies too. I feel this is going to be a great combination to put some strong songs in the artist hands.”

This guy (Larry) writes the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. When the bands sing his music it is almost like listening to angels singing because of the uplifting message he brings. It is like a mixture of Fergie and Jesus. Thank you Larry for all of the joy you bring into my life.

I am just a small time gospel singer trying to minister to my small world. I am recording a CD to sell in local churches. I would like to record Sandy Knight’s , It Always Makes a Difference When Jesus Passes By. I will record 200 Cd’s. Can you help me get a mechanical license to do this?
Thank you for your quick response.

Dear Jean Criddle, the song When Jesus Passes By written by Sandy Knight is in the Four Iron Publishing company which we do not own. I do believe that Evergreen Copyrights administers that catalog, or at least they used to. You can check with them online at http://www.evergreencopyrights.com If they do have it in their system, you can get your mechanical license online on their website. I hope this helps direct you, and thanks for checking with Crossroads for your music needs.

Where would I find a piano/vocal copy of “If It Wasn’t For the Cross” or also known as “The Cross”? I have searched everywhere for the sheet music for this beautiful song and found Asheville Music Publishing as publisher and after 2 days of searching STILL haven’t any results… can you help?
