In the case of this song, Tim Dill received it from songwriter-artist Ann Downing several years before the group actually recorded it. “I filed it away for a future recording then forgot about it,” Tim said. “When we were looking for songs for our “The Story of a Lifetime” project, I came across “I Quit” and knew it was perfect for the CD!”
